About
A time machine for public Steam profiles.
steamback looks up a public Steam page, then opens real captures from the Internet Archive. If Wayback never saved that year, the year is missing. Nothing is filled in.
- What you see
The name, picture, and games from that archived Steam Community page. Click a date to see that capture here.
- Where it comes from
Live identity uses the public Steam Community page. History uses the Wayback Machine. steamback does not host Steam or rewrite the past.
- What stays missing
Private profiles stay closed. A year the archive never saved stays missing. Nothing is filled in.
- Independent project
Fan-made, not affiliated with Valve or Steam. Share a profile link; there is no login and no saved account. Privacy
Archives miss pages, block images, and skip private profiles. Missing data is shown as missing.
Questions

- steamback opens a public Steam profile and shows real captures from the Internet Archive: the name, picture, and games from that day.
- How do I see an old Steam profile?
- Paste a profile URL, vanity name, or SteamID64. Pick a date. That capture opens on the page.
- Why is a year missing?
